- Nuclear Wild Forest: An exciting outdoor muddy obstacle venue that’s perfect for team challenges, active away days, and group bonding. With acres of woodland, a scenic lake, and purpose-built obstacles, Nuclear Wild Forest offers the perfect mix of fun and teamwork. Guided by our experienced instructors, your team will climb, crawl, and laugh their way through a truly unforgettable experience.
- Nuclear Adventures: Take teamwork to new heights with our aerial high ropes course and zip lines. Designed to encourage trust, problem-solving, and a healthy dose of laughter, it’s a brilliant way to connect colleagues and boost morale in a relaxed, fun environment.
- Secret Nuclear Bunker: For something truly unique, host your event underground at the historic Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker. This fascinating Cold War site features a conference room for hire and a handset-guided tour, making it an inspiring choice for meetings, workshops, and product launches. The atmosphere is unlike anywhere else — memorable, immersive, and guaranteed to spark conversation.

Race events
Our large-scale Nuclear events are the ultimate way to combine fun, teamwork, and achievement. Every year, thousands of participants — including corporate teams — take on our iconic challenges, designed to build confidence, strengthen connections, and create lasting memories.
Nuclear Races: Our legendary obstacle course events offer the ultimate team challenge — mud, water, obstacles, and plenty of laughter. Perfect for rewarding hard work, building confidence, and strengthening bonds outside the workplace. Held in May and September.
Nuclear Fit: A high-energy outdoor fitness race designed to inspire motivation and collaboration. They’re ideal for teams who love a physical challenge, with 6 unique fitness stations. Held in May, July and September.
Nuclear Mud Tribe: A fun-filled event for those who prefer laughter over competition. With a focus on teamwork, inclusivity, and togetherness, it’s the perfect way to get everyone involved — no pressure, just plenty of muddy smiles and shared achievement. Held in September

We took a 240 year 7 students
I couldn’t recommend Nuclear Wild Forest enough! We took a 240 year 7 students and all the students LOVED the experience! It was great to see all the students really getting stuck in and using great teamwork to complete all the activities! The organisation from the Wild Forest team is amazing, getting all students involved even if they are feeling slightly nervous. The students really enjoyed all the activities, especially the water ones! It was a great time had by all!

The Nuclear Bunker was eye-opening and really interesting- and so secret that we almost walked past it!
Both students and staff had the most brilliant day at Wild Forest. This is our 5th year of bringing our new Year 12 cohort as a team building and bonding away day and it absolutely delivers on all counts. The staff are fantastic and the opportunities available to the students to push themselves to their muddiest limits both personally and working alongside their peers is brilliant to see!
High Ropes pushed our students to their highest limits- literally! Focus and determination was needed to navigate through the different levels.

This was our 4th consecutive year
This was our 4th consecutive year of taking all our Year 7s to Wild Forest and yet again it did not disappoint. We took just over 230 students to the Wild Forest with the aim to spend time with their new tutors and to build on their early friendships they have made. Sam makes the organisation so easy for us as a school and this is one of the reasons that I keep bringing back our students. Her team of staff we have got to know over the years and student safety and enjoyment is their priority at all times. There has been improvements in the provision of indoor space to have lunch afterwards which has really helped if the weather is rainy. Recently we have had older students talk about their best times at Mayflower and this trip is always featured in their highlights, the photos of their faces speaks for themselves!

The experience we had was phenomenal!
As part of our end of year activities we took our year 9 students to the Nuclear Wild Forest and participated in the obstacle course and death slide. Sam and her team were ready for us as soon as we arrived and from start to finish they were everything we could have asked for – professional, safe, firm but fair and most importantly, fun. Our students were challenged physically, emotionally and mentally. The feedback from ALL of our students was resoundingly positive and we will definitely be going back again.

What to expect
Host your own private 5k on our permanent obstacle course or take on the aerial challenge of the Nuclear Adventures course.
Combine this with meeting space or the opportunity to try axe or knife throwing.
From a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 60 participants at Nuclear Adventures, and up to 300 participants at Nuclear Wild Forest.
Activities
Nuclear Wild Forest has a huge mix of obstacles from big, small, natural and man-made.
Alternatively, take on the vast three level treetop challenge at Nuclear Adventurers with the Big Drop, zip-lines and over 70 aerial obstacles.
Facilities
Venue facilities include large car-park, changing areas, toilets, break out rooms, flexible packages, with friendly and experienced staff.
